Ash Air Staff Volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House

At Ash Air we believe in serving our community in meaningful ways. Whether its providing access to clean water though our very own Water for All events or supporting other local initiatives. Earlier this year our team at Ash Air were able to take time to help prep meals for families whose children are in hospital.

This initiative was started by McDonaldโ€™s New Zealand that looks after Ronald McDonaldโ€™s Houses around New Zealand. This charity was founded in 1989 which provides free accommodation for families and so far, it has provided support to over 4,420 families for the last 33 years.

As part of this initiative the RMHC provides volunteer opportunities for individuals or groups who help in prepping a meal, hosting a movie night or simply being a friendly face at the reception. This year our team had the opportunity to cook some nutritious meals for families in Auckland city.

We are proud of our team, who chose to volunteer for this event and are incredibly honoured that we got to serve families and their kids with a nutritious dinner.
The RMHC is always looking for new volunteer to help support this initiative in any way possible. So if you'd like to volunteer as a group or an individual we highly recommend you do.
