Tell us about yourself and what day-to-day looks like for you?
"After my cup of coffee and email box management, I will focus my day on offering the most sustainable solution(s) possible to my
customers and new potential customers!
Installing a VSD solution has never been so easy! Any identified piston compressor or fixed speed compressor is a potential upgrade for a
VSD solution. There is always a nice story to tell around any compressor replacement; each new sale comes with its journey."
Why variable speed drive? What are the advantages of a VSD option for my next compressor installation?
"It all starts with the compressor itself. Traditional fixed-speed models would simply be switched on and then kept delivering a steady
supply of compressed air – whether it was needed or not. Ash Air offers a cost-saving and energy-preserving alternative: The CPVSd. I
have extensive knowledge of this type of highly efficient, innovative compressor. It is equipped with a variable speed drive that
only produces as much energy as is required at any time. That can decrease your energy use by 35% or even more. In turn, this will lower
your operating costs significantly. However, it is not just the compressor that is important but also how it is controlled and monitored.

"Let’s take an example! For one of my key customers, who is a famous kitchen maker in Auckland, moving from a fixed speed driven screw
compressor to VSD has allowed him to save more than $20,000 of power on his electricity every year! This huge savings considerable reduces
the TCO of the capital investment."
