Prioritizing Safety and Well-being: Ash Air Celebrates Health and Safety Day

The safety and well-being of our team remain our top priority. On April 28, 2023, we commemorated Safety, Health, and Wellbeing Day at Ash Air. This occasion provided us with an opportunity to contemplate the importance of safety, health, and wellbeing in our daily routines. Our celebration at Ash Air is in sync with organizations globally, aligning with the UN's World Day for Safety and Health at Work.

The Health and Safety Day at Ash Air serves as a reminder to prioritize safety and health not just within our workplace but also for our clients. It underscores our dedication to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all.

This Safety Day, we are introducing a new initiative for Ash Air. This initiative theme "Dare to Care" aims to equip our team with essential tools and knowledge to ensure the safety of our colleagues. The e-learning program will be conducted over a period of two months, and we are excited for our to be a part of it.

The objective of the safety workshops, via e-learnings, was to emphasize safety at work and reinforce our safety and health culture by giving our team the possibility to openly discuss where we are with regards to safety and how we can improve the working safety conditions for employees.

Lead by our General Manager and SHEQ Specialist, the safety day was introduced to the team via internal communications and an upcoming agenda. The topics will include Safety Culture: what is culture, what does safety look like in your team, three steps to increasing safety culture; Safety Action: mistakes, incidents and why they happen with case study examples; and Safety Mindset: thinking above 'the line' with a focus on wellbeing and strategy.

In the wake of World Health and Safety Day 2024, we've set forth a comprehensive plan for the year ahead and beyond. This plan encompasses a commitment to working safely across our entire value chain, encompassing employees, customers, suppliers, contractors, and distributors. Our ethos of 'safety is 100% of our behavior 100% of the time' is ingrained in every facet of our operations.

Our journey towards a zero lost time workplace for accidents/incidents is propelled by a proactive approach to cultivating a safety culture. By integrating safety into our daily routines and decision-making processes, we've laid a solid foundation for safe practices and hazard mitigation. We empower everyone to address and identify potential safety concerns, recognizing that safety is a collective responsibility that spans all levels of our organization.

Moreover, our commitment to safety extends beyond our own facilities. It permeates the products we offer, the services we provide, and the training and support we extend to our customers. At Ash Air, safety is a paramount responsibility that we take seriously.

On this occasion, we extend our gratitude to our dedicated team whose unwavering commitment to safety has paved the way for continuous improvement and notable safety milestones within our company and the broader industry.
