Vacuum & Blower Sales & Service Technician Required
Due to continued enhancement of our client focus, we require an expert in Vacuum & Blower technology to compliment our team in the AshAir (NZ) Ltd Christchurch branch.
The business focus is industrial compressed air/vacuum/blower equipment sales and service. We have multiple branches throughout NZ and this position will initially service the South Island.
We require the services of a great Vacuum & Blower technician for our Christchurch Branch to look after the Vacuum & Blower portfolio. This position includes sales and hands on service of our clients equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong Vacuum & Blower background and a comprehensive appreciation of general engineering practices. You will be self motivated and be a go-getter. Sound commercial understanding and a good level of computer skill is required as with good people skills.
The portfolio will include:
• Customer Sales Management
• Customer site service work
• Workshop overhaul work
Minimum requirement Trade Certificate and/or National Certificate in Engineering preferably with an electrical endorsement and proven service experience in this type of work.

Service Technician
The ideal candidate should have Compressed Air experience, but other candidates will be considered. The work involves servicing, repairs, installation and commissioning of compressed air and vacuum equipment. The work is varied, interesting and at times challenging, and would suit someone who requires little or no supervision, is well presented and has a professional approach to their work. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
